OAK PARK’S 30th ANNUAL ETHNIC FESTIVAL - 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM - Oak Park’s 30th Annual Ethnic Festival starts at 715 N. Harvey Ave with a parade that includes groups marching from each school, two floats, three marching bands, tumblers and dancers from throughout the community. Opening ceremonies will be followed by live entertainment under two large tents and in the school auditorium. Admission is free. The mini-gym will be transformed into an international bazaar where books, artifacts, toys and clothing will be for sale. Foods from various cultural traditions will be sold for modest prices.
