OAK PARK MAKES ART! HELP STAMP OUT MENTAL ILLNESS STIGMA - 3:30 to 6:30 PM - Collaborate with Lill Street Art Center and Thresholds Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center artists at Buzz Cafe 905 S. Lombard Street in the Oak Park Arts District to make clay tiles representing all aspects of stigma of mental illness. The artists will magically assemble the tiles into one large mosaic suitable for framing. Can we wipe out stigma through this collaborative creative activity? RANDALL THOMPSON S THE PEACEABLE KINGDOM - 4:00 PM - The Oak Park Concert Chorale, Paul Lindblad - Director, presents Randall Thompson's The Peaceable Kingdom at Grace Lutheran Church at 7300 West Division Street in River Forest. Highlighting their spring concert will be Randall Thompson s The Peaceable Kingdom which has become the benchmark in American choral a cappella literature.
